I finished your book last night. I cheated and read ahead. Anyway,
I want to reread the book taking my time this time and absorbing
the things in the book that are new to me. Its a great book.
Im so glad I ordered it. So much of what you have in the book
Ive been supportive of for a long time but I havent implemented
the changes particularly in eating for wellness and getting
into a regular exercise plan. Ive been fortunate to have always
been a very non-sick person. I cant remember the
last time I was sick. I do agree however, that my non-sickness
is no indication of my wellness.
Im motivated to start on the road to wellness right now! Thats
why I want to reread the book to keep the motivation and the
ideas in my mind until they are well established disciplines. Ill
keep you posted on how Im doing.

I'm currently reading (and loving) a copy of your book 14 Days
to Wellness, which I found at a library book sale! I started aerobic
exercise the day I read step 7. Thank you for writing such a simple,
comprehensive introduction to wellness. I'm enjoying the references
to books and programs. Since the book was written almost 20 years
ago, I was curious where I could find some more recent references.
I know a lot of the information lasts through time, but the Web certainly
came later! Could you reference me to some great websites or other
books? Thanks again. It's always refreshing to find resources such
as your book that consider life a little differently and healthier
than society generally does.

The best wellness book on the market, bar none. It's a delight
from start to finish.

"'How To'... books have always put me off. They tend
to over-promise and over-simplify. Don Ardell's newly
revised "14 Steps to Wellness" does neither. It
is written for those of us who think of wellness as
overwhelming and unachievable. No Nirvana here. No
miracles. Just straightforward 'doable' suggestions for
developing a healthier, happier life. What more could we
ask from the guy who started it all?"

"This man knows how
to write."
Dr. Don Ardell's "14 Steps to Wellness"
shows you how to get started on the wellness road and how
to stay there, for the rest of your life. Don Ardell is
the most imaginative thinker in the world of wellness
today. At the same time, he is down to earth and touching
the clouds, providing you all the practical advice you
need and providing you with all the inspiration you need
too, talking to you from his own experience (he really
does live the wellness lifestyle) and talking to you from
a firm scientific base. This book shows that the wellness
lifestyle starts with health but extends beyond it, that
indeed the physical and mental within ourselves are
thoroughly melded and interdependent, that there is a
common set of principles that underlie all the changes we
can make in our lives that comprise the "14
Steps." And oh yes, this man knows how to write. To
expand your mind and to serve your body well, you are
well-advised to read this book.

"He shares with all
of us his 'secrets' of breaking through the
barriers."
Friends of wellness everywhere are united in their
favorable opinion of Don Ardell's approach to wellness
living. Don has also walked the talk for as long as I have
known him and that is a long time. In this concise book,
he shares with all of us his "secrets" of
breaking through the barriers that make so many lives
barely livable - devoid of fun, passion and zest for
living. The lessons of 14 Days To Wellness can, in a
matter of weeks, enable you to change course for the rest
of your life. Do you want to have fun, get trim and fit
and decrease your risks of lifestyle diseases while
improving your sex life, on the job performance and
general appearance? Then read and live the messages of
this book. What's more, it's printed on edible paper that
tastes like hot fudge so devour every word on each page
and when you are done reading you will have fully
incorporated the book and Don's ideas into your genes. As
Don always says, enjoy and be well.
